WHEREAS HERETOFORE it has been understood that all water in or
under any lands in the Cities of Santa Monica and Venice, (formerly

made in deeds and contracts issued by the said Santa Monica Commer-
cial Camp any. -
AND WHEREAS HERETOFORE it has been understood that the exclusive
right to lay and maintain all water pipes. and to supply all water
used on any lands belonging to the santa Monica Commercial Company
should also belong to and inure to the benefit of the Ocean Park Water
Company, and for that purpose certain other reservations. restrietions,
and eonditions have been made in deeds and contracts heretofore issued
by the Santa Monica Commercial Company, -
NOW. THEREFORE. in consideration of the premises and $10.00
(Ten Dollars) to it in hand paid. receipt of which is hereby acknow-
ledged. the Santa Monica Commercial Company, a corporation organized
and existing under the laws of the state of California, and having
its principal place of business in the City of Santa Monica, party
of the first part. does hereby convey and quit-claim to t he Ocean

Park Water Company, a corporation organized and existing under the
laws of the state of California. and having its principal place of
business in the City of Santa Monica, the party of the second p~t.
all water in and under that tract of land particularly described as
Tract 12352 in the City of Venice, County of Los Angel es, State of
California. as per map reeorded in Book 22, Page 124 of Maps, whether
said water be peroolating or in defined streams or otherwise. also
all Bueh water in .r under any lands which have heretofore been con-
veyed by the party of the first part to any person, persons or oor-

porations in which reservations have been made of such water or water
rights, end situate in the said City of Santa Monica, and the City of
Venice, (formerly Ocean Park), in said County and state. It b sing

understood that certain contracts are out-standing in which certain
reservatiore have not been made, the right is reserved to convey
such property without said reservations. It is understood that the
right to extract said water, and to sell or use any water for any
purpose whatsoever is also conveyed.
And the said first party does hereby further convey and quit-
olaim to said second party all reservations heretofore made, and all
reservations that may be hereafter made ooncerning water in deeds
and contracts wherein the said first party has reserved or may here-
aftar reserve the exclusive right to lay and maintain all water pipes
upon any land,and to supply all water used thereon.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said party of t he first part has here-
unto caused its corporate name and seal to be affixed, these presents
to be s igne d by its president, thereunto duly authorized this lOth
day 0 f February, 1915.
