A strip ten (l~f) feet wide in a portion of Lot 1,
Block 31, of East Santa Monica Tract as per map recorded
in Book 17, page 95 et. seq. of Miscellaneous Records in
the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
the centerline of said easement being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southwesterly line of said
Lot 1, said point being five (5') feet northwesterly from
the most easterly corner of Lot 1, Tract No 14512 as shown
on map recorded in Book 321 Page 6 of Maps in said Office
of County Recorder; thence northeasterly in a direct line
to a point in the southwesterly line of the northeasterly
128,6:> feet, measured along the northwesterl;)T and south-
easterly lines, of said Lot 1 of Block 31, said point
being 128,39 feet southeasterly, measured along last mentioned
southwesterly line, from the southeasterly line of Ashland
