Dollars, receipt ot which is hereby acknowledged, and other
good and valuable consideration, WILLIAM J, HIRT & URSULA M. HIRT
does hereby grant and convey to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a
muniCipal corporation, an easement tor sewer purposes and
tor the purpose of installation and maintenance ot sewer
lines and manholes, over, along and across that certain real
property in the City ot Santa Monica, County ot Los Angeles,
state ot Calitornia, more particularly described as tollows:
A strip ten (lor) feet wide in portions of Lot 1,
Block 31, and Lot 50, Block 47 of East Santa Monica Tract
as per map recorded in Book 17, Page 95 et. seq of
Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, the centerline of said easement
being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southwesterly line of
the northeasterly 44.30 feet, measured along the north-
westerly and southeasterly lines of said Lot 1, said
point being 124.69 feet southeasterly, measured along
said southwesterly line from the southeasterly line of
Ashland Avenue as shown on said map; thence in a direct
line to a point in the northeasterly line of the south.,
westerly 40. feet, measured along the northwesterly
and southeasterly lines, of saidLot 50, said poidbeing
120.99 feet southeasterly, measured along last mentioned
Rortheasterly line, from the southeasterly line of Ashland
Avenue as shown on said map.
