Dollars, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and other
good and valuable consideration, GRACE BARTELS, does hereby
grant and convey to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a municipal
corporation, an easement over, along and across that certain
real property in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los
Angeles~ State of california, more particularly described as
follows:
A strip of land 7.5 feet wide, adjacent
to the northwesterly side of Lot 25,
as shown on map of Serra Vista Heights
Extension, recorded on Page 180 of Map
Book 8, records of Los Angeles County,
and extending for the full length of
said lot, being the adjacent south-
easterly half of that certain alley
vacated by Ordinance NO. 106 passed by
the Board of Trustees of the City of
Santa Monica, January 3, 1910.
for alley and street purposes and for the purpose of installation
and maintenance of water lines, sewer lines, storm drains and
any and all other uses that can lawfully be made of the sub-
surface of an alley.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ACCEPTING AN
EASEMENT DEED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That that certain Easement deed whereby
GRACE BARTELS conveys to the City of Santa Monical an easement
over the following described property:
A strip of land 7.5 feet wide, adjacent
to the northwesterly side of Lot 25,
as shown on map of Serra Vista Heights
Extension, recorded on page 180 of Map
Book 8# records of Los Angeles County,
and extending for the full length of
said lotI being the adjacent southeasterly
half of that certain alley vacated by

be and the same hereby is accepted and the City Manager is
directed to record said Easement Deed.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
