The following resolution was adopted by the following
vote:- I
Ayes:- Goetz, Steele, Vawter, DUdley.
Noes: - None.
Absent, Johnston.
RESOLVED,- That the deed tendered by Arcadia B. De Baker,
of an eighty (80) foot strip of land which will be a connection I
between two portions of 16th. Street now divH,ed by an unopenea port-.
ion at and near the Southern Pacific Railway CompEmy's Right of I
Way be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City of Santa Monica
for street purpOSes, upon the conditions named by said grantor,-
to-wit :-
That in the opening of said street across said strip of
land there shall be no expense therefor assessed against the
remaining property of the grantor abutting upon the property in
said deed granted for said pnrposes.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to
accept the said deed upon said conditions, ana, cause same to be
recorded.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was adopted
by the Board of Trustees at their meeting of November 19th, 1906
and I further certify thst the same is a full, true and correct
copy of the original Resolution. I
