Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the Recorder of Los Anp~el-
os County, state of Cali fornia, the particular route of said right

Said right of way hereby granted is for the purpose I

for laying thereon and across said Lot 40 all necessary sewer

electricity, together with the rir;ht to excavate and do all things

. same. Reserving, however, to me, the grantor rerein, the right
to build any structure I see fit. on said lot and over said right
of way, either before any sewer or other pipe is laid across said
I rif~ht of way, or after t.he same is laid; and any sewer pipes or

laid and maintained by said City wi tnout injury to any build ing

I hereinbefore described, instead of being of the ordinary clay
I sewer pipe, must be constructed of substantial cast~ii'on pipe, 1

il right of way, are to be laid a reasonable distance under the

I ground, and any trench excavated for that purpose is to be en-
I tirely refilled by said City, in a good and workmanlike manner;
I and, further, that in laying the said sewer pipe, the party of I
