OF GIFT
DOUGLAS .AIRCF.AFT COMPANY, INC. a corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Delaware, with its principal
place of business in the City of Santa Monica, State of California,
does hereb,y, voluntarily and without consideration, transfer, convey
and give to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a municipal corporation organ-
l~ed under the laws of the State of California, the personal
propertylooated at the plant of Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc. at
JOOO Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica, California and described as
follows:
(1) One (1) 1942 White Fire Truck, Model WAllS,
2 1/2 ton, Eug. No. 110A-J150, Serial No. 253949,
together with tank and pump thereon
(2) Two story wood fire house, known as Douglas Unit
130, and containing approximately 2856 s~uare feet.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned has executed this deed
on the 28th day of February, 1949 by its officer thereunto duly
authorized.

AGREEMENT 1
This agreement by and between DOUGLAS AIRCRAFT COMPANY,
INC. a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Delaware,
with its principal place of business in the City of Santa Monica,
state of California (hereinafter sometimes called "Douglaslt) and
the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a municipal corporation organized under
the laws of the State of California (hereinafter sometimes called
the ffCitylt);
Witnesseth:
WHEREAS, The City is the owner of a fire truck and fire
house now located at Douglas' Santa Monica plant; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to move said fire house and truck
to a new location on the Santa Monica Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are not available to the City
to accomplish such desire and Douglas is willing to donate and
give funds, labor and/or material to the City to enable such move
to be made; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto that the
foregoing be accomplished by the execution and performance of
this agreemen t ;
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
For the purpose of moVing and reestablishing said fire
station and truck from their present location to a site at or near
the northwest corner of said Municipal Airport, the CITY shall
furnish or cause to be furnished necessary labor and materials
of a value of not less than Eight thousand five hundred dollars
($8,500); and DOUGLAS shall furnish, as a donation, to the City, -

such other labor and/or materials not to exceed Three thousand
five hundred dollars ($3,500) in value, as are necessary to
complete the work of such moving.
Executed by the undersigned parties this 2nd day of
March, 1949 by their respective officials thereunto duly
authorized.
