A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR
NEW OR EXISTING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LIBRARY PROGRAM SPECIALIST-
LITERACY SERVICES AND PUBLIC INFORMATION COORDINATOR.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary levels are hereby established, retroactive to
March 10, 2024, for the indicated classifications:
Classification Salary Reason
Library Program Specialist –
Literary Services
$81,756/annual; Step 5 New classification
Public Information Coordinator $133,776/annual; Step 5 Reestablishment of
classification
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
