RESOLUTION NUMBER 11566 (CCS) (City Council Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR CUSTODIAN II, DIRECTOR OF RECORDS AND ELECTION SERVICES (CITY CLERK), AND MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT, ESTABLISHING A NEW CLASSIFICATION AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR PRINCIPAL DESIGN AND PLANNING MANAGER.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary level is hereby established, effective July 2, 2023, for the indicated classifications:
Classification Salary Reason
Custodian II $61,692/annual; Step 5 Equity Adjustment
Maintenance Assistant $51,521/annual; Step 5 Equity Adjustment
SECTION 2. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective January 14, 2024, for the indicated classifications:
Classification Salary Reason
Director of Records and Election Services (City Clerk) $238,164/annual; Step 5 Equity Adjustment
Principal Design and Planning Manager* $179,808/annual; Step 5 New Classification*
* Subject to the approval of the new classification by the Personnel Board
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
