Subject: Request of Councilmember Torosis, Mayor Davis, and Councilmember Zwick
to allocate $9000 of Council discretionary funds to the Westside Coalition in
support of the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration to be held on
January 15, 2024. This celebration will mark the 39th anniversary of the event
and will embrace the theme “Stop the Hate, Start the Healing”. The program
will be free and open to the public.
