Honorable Chairs, Lisa, Denise and George
I hope this email finds you well...
I am writing to let you know that I am moving out of Santa Monica and must resign from the board
effective tomorrow, June 16th. It's only the 2nd time in my life I'm moving away from my childhood street in Santa
Monica. The first time I followed my wife to her house in Venice;)
Most of my family remains in town and thank G‐D our family business of 44 years remains on the Pier. I have taken the
incoming chair role at the chamber and look forward to building a more business friendly community that will champion
equitable public safety. I am as committed to our city as ever and look forward to moving back to my hometown
someday, serving the city as a resident.
It's bittersweet as I exit my final resident‐board and I trust our council will find a good replacement.
