I am extremely bullish on Santa Monica and the wider Los Angeles area for technology start ups and innovative individuals wanting to make this their home. Seeing the friendly little robots around Ocean Park has been such a fun conversation starter, and results in so many fun conversations about how forward-looking Santa Monica/where we live is. They’re cute, not a nuisance, silent, and take cars off the road (increasing safety and decreasing environmental impact for the delivery of a small item).    I’ve never seen them in SF, and I think it’s a symbol of the innovation-friendliness and future of technology improving the lives of many.    I have gotten to know the team a bit, and they feel very committed to community roots and being great citizens and participants in the area. So I would like to send a note that says: Please allow restaurants and markets anywhere in Santa Monica to access affordable delivery services like Coco and vote "yes" on 13A.    Thank you!    Best,  James Beshara    — James Beshara linkedin.com/in/jjbeshara jjbeshara.com below the line podcast "The most exciting new podcast in the startup world.” - Eric Ries, Founder and NYTimes bestselling author Item 13.A 4/13/21 10 of 10 Item 13.A 4/13/21 13.A.a Packet Pg. 758 Attachment: Written Comments (4526 : Amend remotely controlled delivery device ordinance)
