AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 646 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Ordlnance Number 646 (City Counc~l
Series) is hereby repealed ~n its entirety.
SECTION 2.
If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause or phrase of thlS ordlnance is for any reason held to be
lnvalld or unconstltutional by a declsion of any court of
competent jur~sdictlon, such decis~on shall not affect the
va11dlty of the remainlng portlons of the ord~nance. The Clty
Count~l hereby declares that It would have passed th~s ordlnance
and each sectlon, subsectlon, sentence, clause or phrase hereof,
irrespectlve of the fact that anyone or more sections, sub-
sectlons, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared lnvalld or
unconstitutlonal.
SECTION 3.
The Mayor shall slgn and the City Clerk
shall attest to the passage of thlS ordinance. The City Clerk
shall cause the same to be publlshed once In the officlal
newspaper wlthln 15 days after its adoption. The ordlnance shall
become effect~ve after 30 days from its adoptlon.
