AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AMENDING SECTION 1010SA OF CHAPTER
1, ARTICLE X OF THE SANTA MONICA MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 1010SA of Chapter 1, Article X of the
Santa Monica Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
SECTION ~Ol05A. No pure jet aircraft shall take
off and only emergency landings of such aircraft may be

made between the hours of 7:00 P.M. of one day and 9:00

A.M. of the next day. The Airport Director, or in his
absence the Watch Commander of the Santa Monica Police
Department, may approve a take off during said hours, pro-
vided it appears to his satisfaction that an emergency
involving life or death exists and approval is obtained
before take off.
SECT ION 2. The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall
attest to the passage of this ordinance. The City Clerk shall cause
the same to be published once in the official newspaper within fifteen
days after its adoption. This ordinance shall become effective after
thirty days from its adoption.
