AN ORDINAN!==E OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA AMENDING SECTION 8200, CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VIII,
OF THE SANTA MONICA MUNICIPAL CODE WHICH RELATES TO THE
ADOPTION OF THE 1973 UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SNATA MONICA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Sect~on 8200 of the Santa Monica Munic~pal Code ~s
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 8200. That certain document, three cop~es of
which are on file ~n the off~ce of the C1ty Clerk for USe and exam-
J.natJ.on by the public, entJ.tled "The UnJ.form Plumb.l.ng COde, 1973
Ed~tJ.on" hereby J.s adopted as the plumbJ.ng code of the C~ty of Santa
MonJ.ca and shall be desJ.gnated as the "PlumbJ.ng Code."
Each and all of the regulat~ons, provJ.sJ.ons, penalties,
conditJ.ons, and terms of said PlumbJ.ng Code are made a part hereof
as though fully set forth herein.
No person shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, re-
paJ.r, move, remove, convert, demolish, occupy, eguJ.p, use or main-
tain any bUJ.ldJ.ng or structure, or fixture attached thereto, in
vJ.olation of the regulations contaJ.ned in said code hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign and the CJ.ty Clerk shall attest
to the passage of this ord2nance. The CJ.ty Clerk shall cause the same to
be publJ.shed once in the officJ.al newspaper withJ.n fJ.fteen days after J.ts
adoptJ.on.
