A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor McKeown at 5:25 p.m., on
Tuesday, September 8, 2020, via teleconference pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 at

CONVENE
On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 5:25 p.m., with all
members present.
CONSENT CALENDAR: 3.A. Adoption of Resolution No. 11285 (CCS) entitled “A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ACCEPTING THE TENTATIVE AGREEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE SUPERVISORY TEAM ASSOCIATION AND SANTA MONICA
FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 1109”, was presented.
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1. Adopt the proposed Resolution (Attachment A) accepting the
tentative agreements reached with the Supervisory Team
Association and Santa Monica Firefighters Local 1109;
2. Adopt the salary schedule (Attachment B); and
3. Authorize budget changes as outlined in Attachment C.
There were no members of the public present to comment on this items.
Motion by Mayor Pro Tem O’Day, seconded by Councilmember
McCowan, to adopt the resolution, reading by title only and waiving further
reading thereof.
