R11137ATTACHMENT A 1 City Council Meeting: September 11, 2018 Santa Monica, California RESOLUTION NUMBER 11137 (CCS) (City Council Series) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REVISE THE EXECUTIVE PAY PLAN WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code Section 3505.1, on September 11, 2018, a revised Executive Pay Plan was presented to the City Council of the City of Santa Monica for consideration; and WHEREAS, Government Code Section 3505.1 requires preparation of a written Memorandum of Understanding between the City and the employee organization if a tentative agreement is reached and adopted by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the Pay Plan is to promote and provide harmonious relations, cooperation, and understanding between the City and Executive Pay Plan participants; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica hereby approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute a revised Executive Pay Plan (FY2018-2019). ATTACHMENT A 2 SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
