A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Winterer at 4:31 p.m., on
Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.
Roll Call: Present: Mayor Ted Winterer
Mayor Pro Tem Gleam Davis (arrived at 4:42 p.m.)
Councilmember Sue Himmelrich
Councilmember Tony Vazquez (arrived at 5:25 p.m.)
Councilmember Kevin McKeown
Councilmember Pam O’Connor
Absent: Councilmember Terry O’Day
Also Present: City Manager Rick Cole
City Attorney Lane Dilg
City Clerk Denise Anderson-Warren
CONVENE/PLEDGE On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 4:31 p.m., with all
members present except Councilmembers O’Day, Vazquez, and Mayor Pro
Tem Davis.
CLOSED SESSIONS
Mayor Pro Tem Davis
arrived at 4:42 p.m.
Councilmember Vazquez
arrived at 5:25 p.m.
Members of the public Art Casillas and Denise Barton commented on
closed sessions.
On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 4:35 p.m., to consider
closed sessions and returned at 5:36 p.m., with Councilmember O’Day
absent, to report the following:
1.A. Public Employee Evaluation
Title: City Manager
The Mayor advised this matter was heard with no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT On order of the Mayor, the City Council meeting adjourned at 5:36 p.m.
