13.C Request of Mayor Winterer, Mayor Pro Tem Davis and Councilmember
McKeown that the Council allocate $7,500 of discretionary funds to serve
as a matching grant to assist students from lower-income families to
participate in this year’s student cultural exchange program with our
Friendship City of Kizugawa, Japan. Funds will be provided to the Santa
Monica Science Magnet, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
