February 9, 2018
Santa Monica City Council,
The Honorable Pam O'Connor---
Dear Councilor O'Connor,
I want to send a short note to commend you for your steadfast advocacy on behalf of R1 (e.g. North of Montana
residents) in our City. Your request that the Council direct staff to notify them via mailing of the Interim
Ordinance and related information is evidence of your ongoing commitment to the well-being of our City's most
vulnerable residents.
Hearing their testimony with respect to their plight concerning the new construction and/or rehab of their 5,000
square foot lots vs.10,000 square lots I am sure tore at the heart strings of many residents, as I am sure it did for
you.
I think President Obama was completely wrong---you're not just doing a good job---you're doing a fantastic
frickin job. Amen to that.
Thank you again for your decades long public service and your selfless dedication to our City's most vulnerable
and needy residents.
Sincerely,
