Subject: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance Setting Forth Regulations for
Commercial Medicinal and Nonmedicinal Cannabis Uses
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached Ordinance adding Section 6.200
to the Santa Monica Municipal Code and shall be known as the Santa Monica Cannabis
Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 10, 2017, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance setting forth regulations for commercial medicinal and nonmedicinal cannabis
uses.
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adoption.
