Plan by Modifying the City's Transportation Demand Management Ordinance
to Establish a Transportation Allowance of 100% Within the Downtown
Community Plan Area
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on July 25, 2017, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending the Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 9.53.130 to ensure
consistency with the goals and policies of the Downtown Community Plan by modifying
the City’s Transportation Demand Management Ordinance to establish a transportation
allowance of 100% within the Downtown Community Plan area.
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adoption.
