Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on March 28, 2017, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance approving a procedural amendment to the Development Agreement between
the City of San ta Monica and Providence Health System -Southern California, a
California non -profit religious corporation (“Providence”), as sole corporate mem ber of
Providence Saint John’s Health Center, a California non -profit religious corporation
(“Saint John’s”).
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adoption.
