Corrections, and Clarifications to the Zoning Ordinance, Chapters 9.01
Through Chapter 9.52 of Article 9 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code,
Including Changes Related to Accessory Dwelling Units To Be Consistent
with Recent Changes in State Law
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Su mmary
At its meeting on February 14, 2017, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance adopting changes, corrections, and clarifications to the City’s Zoning
Ordinance, Chapters 9.01 through Chapter 9.52 of Article 9 of the Santa Monica
Mun icipal Code, including changes related to accessory dwelling units to be consistent
with recent changes in state law.
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adoption.
