13.B Request of Mayor Pro Tempore Davis, Mayor Winterer and Councilmember
Vazquez that the Council allocate $10,000 of discretionary funds to Mount
Olive Lutheran Church and the Bruin Shelter to assist with the permitting
fees for the operation of their student -run shelter for UCLA and SMC
students experiencing homelessness. The funds w ill be available for 60
days, allowing and encouraging our educational partners to make matching
contributions.
