Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 25, 2016, the City Council introduced for first reading an
o rdinance amending Article VIII of the Santa Monica Municipal Code by adopting the
California Building Standards Code and the Santa Monica local amendments to the
California Building Standards Code.
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adop tion.
