A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA FOR THE NEGOTIATION AND SALE OF CITY -
OWNED REAL PROPERTY AT 2018 19TH STREET
WHEREAS, the property located at 2018 19th Street ("Property") was conveyed to
the City of Santa Monica in 2009 by Habitat for Humanity; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution Number 10878 (CCS), the City Council determined that
the Property was no longer needed for any public purpose and authorized the invitation
of proposals for the sale of the Property in accordance with Santa Monica Municipal Code
("SMMC") Section 2.24.110 and California Government Code Section 54222; and
WHEREAS, the City invited proposals for the sale of the Property in accordance
with SMMC Section 2.24.110 and received one proposal for an amount above the
appraised value of the Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and enter into a
purchase and sales agreement and related documents for the sale of the Property for no
less than the appraised value of the Property, after the conclusion of the negotiations.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
