A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Vazquez at 4:34 p.m., on
Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

Mayor Pro Tem Ted Winterer (arrived at 4:41 p.m.)
Councilmember Gleam Davis
Councilmember Sue Himmelrich
Councilmember Kevin McKeown
Councilmember Pam O'Connor (arrived at 5:00 p.m.)
Councilmember Terry O'Day
Also Present: City Manager Rick Cole
Assistant City Manager Elaine Polachek
Acting City Clerk Denise Anderson -Warren
CONVENE/PLEDGE On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 4:34 p.m., with all
members present except Councilmembers O'Connor and Mayor Pro Tem
Winterer. Councilmember Himmelrich led the assemblage in the Pledge of
Allegiance.
CLOSED SESSIONS ]. CLOSED SESSIONS
Mayor Pro Tem Winterer
arrived at 4:41 p. in. I.A. Public Employee Evaluation: Title of Employee: City Manager,
was presented.
Councilmember O'Connor
arrived at 5:00 p.m. Members of the public Denise Barton, D.B., and People of California
commented on closed sessions.
On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 4:43 p.m., to consider
closed sessions and returned at 5:40 p.m., with all members present, to
report the following:
The Mayor advised this matter was heard, and the Council is pleased with
the City Manager.
