SUBJECT: Recommendation to award bid for turf equipment
Bid No. 1455
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for turf equipment, consisting of
a tractor with mower and tiller attachments, in the total amount
of $9,579.22, including tax. Funds for this budgeted equipment are
available in lob account number 65930 -000.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and deliver
turf equipment in accordance with City specifications, two bids were
received and publicly opened and read September 25, 1979. Proposal
packages were mailed to twenty -one (21) prospective suppliers and
notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter and Municipal
Code provisions.
Recommendation
It is recommended. that the award be made to Huntsberger Equipment
Company as the lower and better bidder as listed on the attached
