A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor McKeown at 4:01 p.m., on
Wednesday, May 14, 2015, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

Councilmember Gleam Davis
Councilmember Sue Hirnmelrich
Councilmember Pam O'Connor
Councilmember Terry O'Day (arrived 4:07 p.m.)
Councilmember Ted Winterer (arrived 4:06 p.m.)
Also Present: City Clerk Sarah P. Gorman
Not Present: Interim City Manager Elaine Polachek
City Attorney Marsha Jones Moutrie
CONVENE /PLEDGE On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 4:01 p.m., with all
members present excepting Councilmembers O'Day and Winterer.
Councilmember O'Connor led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance.
CLOSED SESSIONS There was no one present for public comment on closed sessions.
Councilmember Winterer On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 4:06 p.m., to consider
arrived at 4:06 p. m. closed sessions and returned at 9:45 p.m., with all members present, to
report the following:

arrived at 4:07 p. m. 1 -A: Publie Employee Appointment
Title: City Manager
The Mayor advised this matter was heard with no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT On order of the Mayor, the City Council meeting was adjourned at 9:46
p.m.
