A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor McKeown at 4:04 p.m., on
Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.
Roll Call: Present: Mayor Kevin McKeown
Mayor Pro Tem Tony Vazquez (arrived at 4:10 p.m.)
Councilmember Gleam Davis (Telephoned in at 4:08 p.m.)
Councilmember Sue Himmelrich
Councilmember Pam O'Connor (arrived at 4:15 p.m.)
Councilmember Terry O'Day
Councilmember Ted Winterer
Also Present: City Clerk Sarah P. Gorman
CONVENE/PLEDGE On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 4:04 p.m., with
Councilmember Davis absent. Councilmember O'Day led the assemblage
in the Pledge of Allegiance.
CLOSED SESSIONS Member of the public Denise Barton commented on Closed Session.
On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 4:08 p.m., to consider
Councilmember Davis joined closed sessions and returned at 5:32 p.m., with Councilmember Davis
the meeting via phone at 4:08 absent, to report the following:
p.m.
1 -A: Conference with Lisa Mills regarding the recruitment for City
Manager.
Councilmember Davis was
excused at 5:02 p.m. The Mayor advised this matter was heard with no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT On order of the Mayor, the City Council special meeting was adjourned at
5:32 p.m.
