SR-05-13-1980-6E5b MAY 1 3 i980 Santa Monica, California April 30, 1980 To: Mayor and City Council From: City Staff Subject: Lincoln Park Tennis Court and Security Lighting -- Award of Contract Introduction This report recommends that the City Council award a contract for construction of tennis court flood lighting and security lighting at Lincoln Park to the lowest responsible bidder. Background This project was approved and funds in the amount of $75,000 are in the 1979 -80 budget. Bids for the Lincoln Park lighting will be opened on May 9, 1980 in the City Council Chambers. The City Engineer's estimate of the cost of the construction is $68,600. Recommendation It is recommended that this contract be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder to be named in a supplemental staff report.
