SR-12-09-1980-6PSanta Monica, California, December 3, 1980 TO: Mayor and City Staff r, c 19f}Q Dc.0 J FROM: City Staff SUBJECT: Amendment to Audit Contract - Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company Background On May 13, 1980 the Council approved a contract for City Audit services with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company. Discussion Inasmuch as the Redevelopment Agency must also be audited and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell is familiar with the Agency accounting system as a result of their work for the City, it is recommended that the existing contract be amended to include the Rede- velopment Agency work. The cost of this additional work is estimated at $5,500 (reimbursable by the Agency). Recommendation It is recommended the Council approve an amendment to the contract with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company for Redevelopment Agency audit services in an amount not -to- exceed Five Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($5,500).
