BID NO. 1526
INTRODUCTION
This report concerns award of bid for Playground Equipment in the total amount
of $14,651.27, including applicable sales tax. Funds for this purchase are in
account number 79820 -000, Work Order for Marine Park.
BACKGROUND
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and deliver Playground
Equipment in accordance with City Specifications, bids were received and publicly
opened and read June 10, 1980. Proposal forms were mailed to fourteen (14)
Playground manufacturers and notices were advertised in accordance with City '
Charter and Municipal Code provisions
noted on the attached Summary of Bids.
RECOMMENDATION
Three (3) proposals were received, as

to Columbia Cascase Timber, in
the total
amount of $14,651.27,
including tax,
as the lowest and best bidder.
The plans
from Columbia Cascade have been approved by the Recreation and Parks Department
as the three (3) bidders were bidding on our specifications and plans.
