Dear Rod, Martin, Matthew, Hector, Sarah and Members of the Urban Forest Task Force,
Thank you for your kind emails the past several days. It is with great regret that I must resign from the UFTF, in
order to serve on the Recreation and Parks Commission.
I had hoped to continue on both, but was informed by the City Attorney it is not possible.
My thanks to all of you, especially to Rod and Martin for help righting the ship, to Matthew for his stellar work
and dedication, and most of all to members of the Urban Task for caring so deeply about our Urban Forest.
You will always have an ally in me, and if I can be of any help in your efforts, please let me know.
I do hope you will make "Trees 2016" a priority in the coming months. Goals remain merely goals if we do not
achieve them.
