Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 14, 2014, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance adding Section 4.08.098 to the Santa Monica Municipal Code prohibiting
presence in hospital emergency room waiting areas except for medical services. The
ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
