ifornia, and in conformity and by virtue of Chapter FJI, Title IX, of part three
of the Political Code of the State of California, approved March, 12th, 1872, and
put into effect by an act of the legislature of the State of California, entitled ".4n
.4ct to put into immediate effect certain parts of the Political and Penal Codes,"
approved March 16th,, 1872, and all acts amendatory thereof or supplemen-
tary thereto, and in and by virtue of and in conformity with ordinance No. 15,

linquent list of all persons and property then owing taxes in said town to the
Town of Santa Monica,, which said delinquent list did include the property first
