Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for refuse bin parts in the total
amount of $3,270.10 including applicable tax. Funds are available in
account number 80- 975 - 127 - 000 -000, Refuse Bin. Revolving Account.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and deliver
parts for two (2) cubic yard refuse bins in accordance with City spec--
ifications, one (1) bid was received and publicly opened and read on
January 18, 1979. Proposal packages were mailed to eight (8) potential
suppliers and notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter
and Municipal Code provisions. The bid of Cubic Containers, Inc., is:
