Introduction
This report concerns award of bid, in the amount of $4,363.67
including tax, for one (1) carbon arc follow spotlight. This
purchase was budgeted at $6,500.00 in account 10- 400 -621- 000 -950,

Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids, bids were received
and publicly opened and read in the office of the City Manager
August 15, 1878. Proposal packages were mailed to nineteen (19)
stage lighting companies and notice were advertised in accordance
with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions. Four (4) proposals
were received:
