SUBJECT: Recommendation to award bid for tractor. Bid No.1395.
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid in the amount of $24,059.52
including tax, for one (1) diesel - powered tractor with front
loading fork attachment. This purchase was budgeted at $29,400.00
in account 11- 40.0 -521- 000 -950, Beach Maintenance Capital Outlay.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids, Proposals were received
and publicly opened and read in the office of the City Manager August 22,
1978. Proposal packages were mailed to nineteen (19) tractor dealers t
and notices were advertised in accordance with city charter and municipal
code provisions. Three (3) bids meeting specifications were received:
