Introduction This report concerns award of bid to supply emulsified asphalt as ordered by the City during the period July 1, 1979 through June 30, 1980. This award shall be subject to availability of funds in the budget approved for the impending fiscal year. The award, in the estimated amount of $9,001.52, will be charged to account 01- 500 -421- 000 -414 (Street and Road Materials). Background This material is used as base rock for paving, fill in for ditches, aspahltic concrete mix, dusting new paving and to absorb oil spills, Expenditures during the current year for these items have averaged approximately $1,400.00 per month.
