Introduction
This report transmits the attached ordinance
which grants a community antenna television franchise to
Theta Cable of California, for second reading.
Background
On October 25, 1977, the City Council adopted
a Resolution of Intention to Grant a Franchise for
community antenna television service. A public hearing
was held thereafter on November 22, 1977, at the time of
first reading of the attached ordinance, regarding the
grant of such franchise to Theta Cable of California.
A copy of the previous Staff Report is attached hereto,
for information purposes.
