Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 22. 2013, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Article VIII of the Santa Monica Municipal Code by Adopting the
California Building Standards Code and the Santa Monica local amendments to the
California Building Standards Code. The ordinance is now presented to the City
Council for adoption.
