ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR

CITY CLERK),ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER FOR COMMUNITY AND
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, DEPUTY CITY
ATTORNEY III, DEPUTY CITY MANAGER, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY
MAINTENANCE, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL SERVICES,

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective January 1,
2007, for the indicated permanent classifications:
ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER FOR $10, 518 /Month Step 5

SECTION 3. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective June 30,
2006, for the indicated permanent classifications:
PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN — PUBLIC SERVICES $8,237 /Month Step 5
PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN — REFERENCE SERVICES $8,237 /Month Step 5
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
