Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 2, 2012, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance Amending Chapter 4.44 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code on smoking to
expand protection from second -hand smoke in multi -unit residential properties. The
ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
