Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on July 10, 2012, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 6.49 regarding taxicabs,
and Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 6.16.030 regarding the hearing procedure
for administrative appeals. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for
adoption.
