Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on February 14, 2012, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Interim Zoning Ordinance Number 2356 (CCS) modifying
restrictions on the number of restaurants permitted on the east side of Main Street
between Ocean Park and Pico Boulevards and to require the replacement of publicly -
available parking spaces in Downtown public parking structures in the event of their
removal, redevelopment or conversion. The ordinance is now presented to the City
Council for adoption.
