Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on December 13, 2011, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Chapter 4.44 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code to prohibit
smoking in new hotels. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for
adoption.
