A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR
AIRPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR, BUDGET MANAGER, CIVIL ENGINEER- SPECIAL
PROJECTS AS- NEEDED, COMMUNITY SERVICES OFFICER, DEPUTY CITY
MANAGER — SPECIAL PROJECTS, PARKS MAINTENANCE CREW LEADER,
PARKS MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, PIER MANAGER, POLICE CHIEF AS-
NEEDED, PRI NCI PAL ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST, SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE
ANALYST- TRANSIT OPERATIONS, SYSTEMS POLICY ENGINEER, TECHNICAL
STAFF ASSISTANT, TRANSIT COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR, TRANSIT
COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER, TRANSIT FINANCE AND GRANTS MANAGER,
TRANSIT GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER, TRANSIT
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS OFFICER, TRANSIT MARKETING COORDINATOR,
TRANSIT OPERATIONS MANAGER, TRANSIT SAFETY AND TRAINING
ADMINISTRATOR, WATER CREW LEADER, WATER QUALITY ANALYST I, WATER
QUALITY ANALYST II
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective January 1,
2012, for the indicated permanent classifications:
BUDGET MANAGER $11,581 /Month Step 5
PIER MANAGER $12,021 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR $ 6,907 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER $ 8,500 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT GOVERNMENT RELATIONS OFFICER $9,191 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT MARKETING COORDINATOR $ 6,907 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT FINANCE AND GRANTS MANAGER $11,227 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY
RELATIONS MANAGER $11,029 /Month Step 5
TRANSIT SAFETY AND TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR $9,178 /Month Step 5
SECTION 2. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective October 1,
2011, for the indicated permanent classifications:

SECTION 4. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective July 1, 2011,
for the indicated as- needed classifications:
CIVIL ENGINEER - SPECIAL PROJECTS (AS- NEEDED) $62.38 /Hour Step 1
POLICE CHIEF (AS- NEEDED) $127.54/Hour Step 1
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
