SR 09-27-2011 3G0 dom City of City Council Report Santa Monica City Council Meeting: September 27, 2011 Agenda Item: To: Mayor and City Council From: David Martin, Director, Planning and Community Development Subject: Resolution Approving Final Tract Map No. 69822 for a Mixed -Use Project That Includes 93 Condominium Units at 1755 Ocean Avenue. Recommended Action Staff recommends,that City Council adopt the attached resolution approving Final Tract Map No. 69822. Executive Summary This report transmits for City Council approval a Final Tract Map for the following mixed - use project that includes 93 condominium units. The Tentative Tract Map was approved by the City Council on May 13, 2008. TRACT MAP ADDRESS SUBDIVIDER UNITS No. 69822 1755 Ocean Ave Related /Santa Monica Village, LLC 93 Discussion After a public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations, the City Council approved a Tentative Tract Map for the above project on May 13, 2008. The action of the City Council was based on its findings that the project is in conformance with all state and local laws and regulations and applicable General Plan Elements. The Final Map conforms to the Tentative Map. The Final Map has been approved by the Los Angeles County Engineer's office and certified by the City Engineer for conformance with the Tentative Map and conditions thereon, the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances. The City Engineer's office indicates that there are required off -site public improvements including curb, gutter, sidewalk, water 1 main, sewer main, and storm drain improvements. The City Attorney's office has approved the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for the Final Map as complying with the conditions of the Tentative Map and applicable laws. Budget/Financial Impact The recommendation presented in this report does not have a budget or fiscal impact.
